Alright. Step one is to admit you made a mistake and step two is to apparently show the world your mistake. I didn't get far away pictures of the bed because the crib is still in there and a table is in the way. In other words, the room is a mess and not put back together yet. I think you'll get the point when you see the massiveness. Oh and the walls don't look mossy greenish, but they are - must be the flash from the camera.
Before the pictures, here is a little video of my boy. The other night after dinner I just recorded anything and everything so you get a few pieces of that. (Don't look at my stacks and mess in the background. I'll get around to cleaning it before Andrew's high school graduation party.)

Until you see a 6'1" man snuggling with his boy. Then you realize it's BIG.
Doesn't matter what kind of bed... he still doesn't want to go to sleep!
But this face and this smile makes living with a blue, tacky, plastic car bed that much easier.
Soooo... there you have it! Now, all of you mom's with boys go by your little guy one! You know he'd love it (and then I wouldn't be the only owner of this diamond in the rough)!

Oh my goodness! Becky you cracked me up again. "Until you see a 6'1" man snuggling with his boy, then you realize it's Big!" I was thinking awe..that's a cute bed, and then I saw Keith in there with Andrew and read what you wrote! Yep, it's a big bed! lol! But Andrews gonna LOVE it! He'll be like, "I'll always remember that aweosme bed I had when I was little!"
That is an excellent movie. Two thumbs up! I was so entertained that I didn't even once get up to go get more popcorn. I'm glad I went to the blog and got the full blog screen experience, rather than waiting for it to come out on DVD.

Andrew is just too cute for words. It was just too funny when he looks over his glasses. I love hearing him talk. What a smart guy!

I had to laugh at Andrew peeking over his glasses, I cannot tell you how many times I used to hear 'Look through your glasses, not over them'. Uh huh.
The way his accent fluctuates is so cute. Sometimes he sounds pure American but other times you can still here a hint of Russian.
This is great! I agree that the bed isn't what most women would want to have in thier home, it is VERY blue! BUT I can definately see why your boy would love it so much! YOU get to be the hero mommy who found it for him special :-) Maybe all the room needs now are some black and white checkered racing flags? Just a thought... The videos are great btw- he's got such a cute voice and he looks very smart in his new glasses. Enjoy your little dude!
Come on now, I think the bed is kind of cute! Yes, big, but still cute nonetheless! (Literally, none. the. less.) And in Andrew's eyes you get to be the super cool mom who got the super cool bed.

He is SO cute!! The bed is probably the first in a long line of big, ugly plastic things you will buy (we've had so many . . .sigh).
I don't have any kids, but I think I might get that bed for myself...I'm not sure where Chris will sleep...maybe we can get matching car beds!!! The bed looks very cozy...Andrew is a lucky little speed racer!

Love the bed. My son is a Cars fanatic at almost 4 year old and he would flip for the bed. Pick your battles. Maybe just give in to the madness and repaint? It's really cute and I would love a bed that I could snuggle with my son in. Good luck!

Very cool bed. I won't be able to show our little boy this post as I'm afraid that we'll be buying one just like it!! Since we decorated in planes, maybe we can find a Little Tikes plane bed!

Oh honey, been there, done that... did I mention that I have had a tent put up in one bedroom or the other for the past three years, pretty much most of the time. Did you ever watch Party of Five years ago, remember when Claudia slept in the tent all the time... yeah... the bed is better! :)
Ok, I thought you might be over-exaggerating a little bit UNTIL I saw your husband lying in the bed. OM that IS a HUGE bed.
