I know my northern friends are giggling at my title but seriously, people! This is a LOT of snow for the south! The snow started around 1:00 today and it’s still coming down now - at 9:00 pm. This snowfall is SO much better than our last one – good, wet, fluffy stuff! We’re expecting approximately one more inch which I’m guessing will bring our total to about 3 inches or so.
Our first order of business was to do something we have always wanted to do – hang out in the hot tub in the snow. Keith’s birthday was last week (Happy Birthday, honey!) and so we decided to also let his birthday balloon go at the same time (Andrew was dying to do something to that poor balloon!). The boys climbed in the hot tub (which was a toasty 102 degrees) and I took some pictures. It always melts my heart to see the 3 boys together.
After the hot tub, we came inside, had some hot chocolate and then before dinner it was play time! Keith had to run to CVS to get his prescription (sinus infection… again…) so Andrew and I headed out. Alex came out much later on and by then it was dark so I wasn’t able to get good pics. Andrew has made everyone promise to build a snowman tomorrow so I’ll get some pics of the brotherly love tomorrow. :-)
Hope everyone is nice and warm tonight!
Becky

Wow! 62+ years I have been waiting to play in the snow. It is beautiful. What really good looking boys we have. Becky, get boys to take pix of you & Keith in the hot tub/snow. Enjoy and remember Fla Grandma! Andrew/Alex make me a Snowman.
Okay so I giggled at the title, but really - that is a lot of snow for you all. Troy and I love to get out in the hottub in the snow. Of course we haven't been able to since the snow is too deep and well, getting out and back to the house would be a nightmare on our bare legs!
Daniel loves to get in too - glad to see we aren't the only ones letting our little one play around in the hot tub!
Love the photo of the 3 boys in the tub!! Priceless!
Tell KeithHappy Birthday from us and that we hope he gets well AND stays well.
Have fun making a snowman!
Cute cute cute photos! We've had it all this winter- I'm so sick of snow I could scream- more on the way today and tomorrow. I'm glad there are some people out there who can appreciate the white stuff! Im ready for green grass, flowers and chirping birds.
Wow you got more than us! I love love LOVE your photos and how you figured out the sizing. Did you do that in LiveWriter and do you use Photoshop? Totally techy questions huh?
What a fun time and the pictures show it!
We had about 3 1/2 inches at our home. Sergei was out of town but Ruslan enjoyed it!
Love the photos!

Becky your pictures are cute. Happy Birthday Keith. Charleston, SC had two to 4 to 5 inches depending on where you were. My grandchildren had to delay their trip for a day so I had to take pictures to show them as most of the snow was gone by the time they got here.
That is totally ADORABLE! I love the close up of the three boys in the hot tub.
On the one hand, I can't get over all you southerners complaining about the the thin blanket of snow you all are getting, but the realist in me realizes that you're not supposed to get any snow - you're in the south! So, you're not prepared for it and , therefore, I'll cut y'all a bit of slack;->
Gosh - how fun is that - chillin' in the hot tub while it's snowing! Wish we had one!!
Beautiful pics!
There's nothing better than sitting in a hot tub when it's snowing!! Such a great feeling~
I feel for Keith and his sinus infection(s) - I've been getting quite a few this year as well - gotta buy stock in CVS!!
Get well Keith and Happy Birthday!
