It's been so much fun watching Andrew play with everything he received for Christmas. He really likes his Hot Wheels track and last night we played "Go Fish" for the first time. I managed to capture his most favorite thing of all on video. If only I knew that a cardboard box was what he REALLY wanted... we would have saved a ton of money! :-)
To set the scene, Andrew is in his boat on his way to the North Pole. He is bringing his crayons to Santa to give him as a gift. He has some friends in the boat with him and his arch rival - Callie is outside the box. Think of Callie as the pirate waiting out in sea for her enemy. This cat doesn't like Andrew so much - unless she has the opportunity to torture him! :-) (As always, don't look at the mess... thankfully this is post-Christmas mess!)
I promise the Christmas Eve post is coming. My sister is out of town and I need her video before I can put it all together and post it! Hopefully later this week.

Oh that made me laugh so much. That was like the Mary Poppins of boats, he just kept producing more and more friends. So funny.

He is precious! Becky-he is doing so well with his speech! I can't imagine how hard it would be at that age to go from fluent Russian to English, and he has done so well! It sounds like he has a great imagination, too! I'm glad you all had a good Christmas!
Becky- Callie the cat just kept cracking me up! I was waiting for Andrew to just sock her! Or for her to somehow manage to get into the boat. lol!
He is so cute. I love how he holds his own with the cat! That 'playing in a box' stage is so precious and goes by so fast. I'm glad you are taking time to enjoy it to the fullest ... not to mention letting us in on the fun too!
I love how Callie is just watching Andrew. How cute is this? I just love videos of animals and kids. You never know what to expect!!
Callie the pirate cat is so funny. Andrew's vocabulary is getting so good and I love how he calls the footed pj's "sticky".
