Where did time go?? My sister emailed me this morning to kindly remind me that I've been neglecting my blog. I thought "it hasn't been too long" and low and behold, my last post was in April! Needless to say, we've been pretty busy. Busy weekends and busy weeks have left with me little energy at night!
In the interest of catching you up, how about some pictures from the past few weekends?
We had our first lake day! Good to see that we're still experiencing wardrobe malfunctions!
Alex had his Junior/Senior Prom! Hard to believe he's old enough to go the prom. He went with his girlfriend, Lindsey and a group of friends.
The next weekend, we took a ride to Alabama to visit some friends! Our in-real-life-blogger friend, Melissa was heading to Ron and Dinia's (who we met while in Moscow and are ever so greatful for!) to take pictures for Ron's family reunion. We had a chance to spend some time with everyone and finally meet the rest of the Warrens!
Alex and Andrew took advantage of Ron and Dinia's pool. Andrew drank half the pool and swam in the other half. He's unstoppable. At one point, he was brave enough to go off the diving board on his own. I can't believe I'm about to tell this story but I was in the water waiting for him to jump in when I saw a shocked and funny look come across his face. I said "Did you just poop?" He said "Yes." Keith said "You just pooped?!?!" He said "No." Needless to say, I flew out of the pool grabbed him off the dining room and became especially thankful for the nets in boys bathing suits. I think the gallons of water and juice he drank finally caught up to him. :-)
Post diving board incident

Dinia and Ron's house was the perfect setting for a couple of quick photos of the boys!

And here is Melissa and I! This is my third in real life meeting with Melissa and her family and they are just awesome. Iliya is just as cute in person as he is in pictures.
After some time at Dinia and Ron's we headed to Auburn to visit with one of Keith's best friends, Troy. We spent the night there and then Troy took Alex on an unofficial tour of Auburn. He liked it and so we'll be heading there for an official tour this summer!
And that about sums it up! I had a great Mother's Day weekend and am counting down the days until our vacation! 19 and counting.... We're trying to get through Alex's finals, finish Andrew's readoption paperwork and get through two projects at work - all in the next 19 days!Happy Mother's Day (belated!) to all of the seasoned, first time and soon to be mom's!

Great Post! Andrew is so funny. I have been a bad blogger lately too - too much going on.
I am happy that Alex liked Auburn. I went there for my first two years of college and had a great time. There are a lot of Auburn Alumni in the area too.
I really wish I had heard of Ron and Dinia before we traveled to adopt Sergei and Ruslan (I found their blog later). They seem like such wonderful people!

Why yes, it seems you have been very busy! Almost never a bad thing in my book (but I'm glad there are those close to you who will call you up to gently remind you about those you are leaving hanging! hehe- keeps me from looking up your number in old emails! :o)
These are great pictures...if Andrew had been peeing into the pool in the pic where he is standing naked on the side he would have looked like a little statue! haha. He is sooooo precious.
The prom pictures are beautiful! They look so great and I am sure they had a wonderful time.
You have been very busy!
