366 days ago, Keith and I stood in a court room talking about how we really did own the "house on sticks" and not just the land, how much we had fallen in love with a little boy named Vasily and waited for the judge to give her verdict. On June 27, 2008 we were proudly named Andrew's parents. You can read all about it here.
I'm preparing a big ol' update for our Gotcha Day anniversary and hopefully I can get some video put together as well. For now, here are both sides of Andrew from this weekend - the wild, crazy boy running down the hallway in the hotel and the tuckered out little man after a big lunch.

Yay, happy court day!!
Congratulations on the one year anniversary of the day you survived court! What a beautiful family that resulted from it! I still remember reading your blog post from that day. It was so helpful as we prepared for court just a couple of weeks later with the same judge. I remember reading it and promptly digging up every document we could get our hands on to verify that we did indeed own both our house and our land. :)
Happy happy 1 year! Time really does fly. I remember when we were all childless - seems like an eternity ago.
