A little certain someone was fighting bedtime tonight - tooth and nail. It was one of those nights. After one last potty break, this little certain someone was standing at the top of the stairs and I heard "Mommy" in a little mouse-type voice.
I went to the bottom of the stairs, gave him the "get in bed now" look and said "Yes, Andrew?" He said "I just wanted to tell you that I'm going to dream about you tonight." Smooth talker, huh? So, I go up to give him a kiss and he turns his head sideways and bats his eyelashes. "Kiss and a hug in bed, please?" So, I, of course, give in.
I tucked him in like a burrito, gave him a kiss and a hug and told him goodnight, sweet dreams. "I will, Mommy cause I'm going to have dreams of you." Ahhh, yes. He's going to have to fight the girls off with a stick if he keeps being Mr. Suave.
That being said, if he wakes up crying in the middle of the night, does that mean that dreaming about me isn't a very pleasant thing?!? :-) Boy, what a complex I might wind up with! :-)

Oh my, he is a smooth talker!!! Well, at least with all his charm and everything you got him to go back to his bed and sleep... he is such a sweet and smart kiddo!

He sure does love to be tucked in like a burrito! When we had nap time, he said we needed to be tucked in like a burrito and I had no idea what he was talking about until he showed me. I laughed so hard :)
He is definitely going to charm the ladies. Very funny and absolutely adorable!
