Smarty Pants

I have so many things to post about, pictures to edit, video to edit and news to share but ZERO, and I mean ZERO energy.  It’s been an emotional week and I’m going to take tonight “off”.  Andrew is going to bed in 42 minutes (but who is counting) and Alex is about to head off to the beach for his senior trip (please don’t ask, I’m a nervous nelly about this whole thing).  I am going to bed in 43 minutes and will hopefully be able to put my body to sleep but, more importantly, my mind!

To entertain you in the interim, here is a brief conversation between Andrew and I.

The scene:  I had just gotten done in the bathroom and opened the door. I was picking up laundry and the toilet had just finished flushing, when Andrew came to the door.

Andrew:  I have to go potty.  (closes the door)  Mommy, you really need to get better about closing the bathroom door.

Me:  Oh yeah?

Andrew:  Yeah, Daddy tells me so and he’s the only one who is really, really smart.

And that, my friends, is just about how I feel right now! :-)

Looking forward to a nice LONG weekend!
Becky

LOL about Andew, and holy cow about Alex. You'll finally recover from him graduating, get used to life, and then it's Andrew's turn. Ok, so I guess you have some time there, but I can only imagine how emotional it is to see the oldest go off to COLLEGE!!

I know you must be exhausted. My nephew graduated last weekend and it was a whirlwind for my sister (and for me as his favorite aunt). You are doing great but I know it is all so overwhelming.

Andrew is hysterical. I truly love your stories about his antics - it makes me laugh.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Well, you and Keith (and others) did their job with Alex. Now all you have to do is have faith that all he was taught sunk in, and that the Good Lord is watching over him. 2 graduations in 1 day! Wow, you need a spa get-away day, for you & Keith. Congratualtions Mom & Dad, one down & 1 more (12 years) to go!! Can't wait to see pictures. Enjoy the weekend. We love you all.
