Thanks to my dad and step-mom, Keith and I had our FIRST date night since we came home in July (speaking of which... we've been home just over 3 months!!). We took Andrew over to their house, dropped him off and we headed to PF Changs. Yum, yum! Andrew spent the night at Grandpa and Nana's and was so excited to see me when I picked him up. Thank you Nana and Grandpa for the time off! :-) Of course, the funny part is while at dinner we talked a ton about adopting another child and whether or not we would adopt a boy or a girl. Still no decision (have a few years!) but when I opened up my fortune cookie it said "Boy". :-)
Well, tomorrow is a work day... guess I had better get some sleep!
Paka!
Paka!

Whoo hoo. MJs rocks! We'll have to take the boys there together. Mateo loves it and is now able to climb up some of the ladders. You can buy the 10 visit card and its basically half price I think.
Glad you guys got a night out. Its a wonderful thing. Between my parents and Parent's night out at daycare we have actually had a little grown up time lately which has been great. It makes the craziness of little boys easier.
BTW Mateo loves his present from you guys. He played with it all weekend!
Boys, Boys, boys! I'm partial to that on of course! So glad you got a night out... PF Changs is yummy!
The photo of the Peanut flying down the bouncy slide cracks me up. Hope you are feeling better!
Cannot wait to meet you guys in person. Well.... being the mom of three boys is great... well... interesting.. well.. wild!!!.. Being the mom of 4 boys... NOT!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud that I'm going to be the mom of 3 boys and 1 drama queen.
:)) Karen
Ha! Love these photos, especially the one of Andrew flying down the slide. It looks like he had a ton of fun. Glad you enjoyed your night out!
Oh, and let me know when your talk of 2nd adoption takes a turn for the more serious. We'll have to coordinate our trips again!
Sounds like a fun weekend! :)
Aren't those bounce gyms great!! It amazes me how quickly they learn to climbs those. I still have trouble :o) Cute photos!
Glad you had a nice date night. We are big fans of P.F. Changs and eat there regularly when we visit Nashville. Funny how alone time turns into talks about adoption ;o)
Glad you got to enjoy a date night! We all need those! Happy parents, happy child! Andrew looks like he had tons of fun. It looks like the place we had one of my baby showers at! I was exhausted after 10 minutes! I can believe Andrew was whooped! BTW, are you feeling much better?
I'm glad you guys got a night out. I'm sure it was much needed! I'm also excited to hear that you guys are thinking about future adoptions!
Becky,
We just had our first night out since being home too, didn't it feel great to be out without a diaper bag, sippy cup and cheerios?!
The bouncy house looks like so much fun and that it would tucker-out even the most active three year old!

Monkey Joe's looks like a fun place. We have one about to open in our area, and we'll have to go now! I'm glad Andrew is doing well and that you all got a date night! I love that you talked about adopting the whole time-too funny!
Are we all insane? Those of us who would do it all again. Do we really forget just how awful parts of the process were? Is it that our children win us over for round #2?!
It doesn't take long before you want to do all of the paperwork again....how exciting that you both are on the same page too! Another sweet boy...sounds like a great idea. I don't see you waiting very long....maybe another month (LOL).
Glad you had a night out together. It is so important!
Glad to hear you guys got out. Love the pics - he has quite the adorable pout and so cute while he does it.
Hi Becky, Wow! - That looks like a great place for little tikes! It looks like Andrew had a great time. I am so glad you guys got to have a date night! I can't believe 3 months already flew by. Thanks again for your email -Have a great weekend! Teresa
Hi Becky, yes, I know I'm so slow in commenting these days :( I am trying to get back on track! Andrew looks like he is having so much fun in those photos, he is too cute. I'm glad you guys got to spend some time alone too, that is so important and I LOVE your over dinner conversation. As Teresa said I can't believe it's been three months already, time is moving way too quickly!
Wow - You are busy!! Cooking with your sister sounded fun - I love cooking. I am glad you got to meet up with some other adopting friends and soon to meet with others! As always - such amazing pictures! Have a great trip...
