Jenn and her husband received "the call"! She'll be meeting Sunshine very soon.
Karyn and Norm got their court date! May 15th! She'll be bringing Ilya home at the end of May.

Dana has a great post on attachment. She used the questions Adrienne had posted and related them to their attachment with Cade. Keith read both of those posts and wants to share them with our family to help explain the many different signs of attachment and/or potential attachment issues.

Mickey didn't work. OK...it took me awhile but I've GOT IT!!!! DEREK!!!!! Perfect! I even came up with a PERFECT middle name....JETER...or, if you prefer...JETE! Hey....now that I think about it JETER works great as a first name, too. Then you can use DEREK as the middle name. Or...if you REALLY want to get fancy how about DEREK MANTLE or DEREK MICKEY as the first and middle? Man I'm good! Just trying my best to help you guys out. I don't care what YOU call the kid...I'm calling him DEREK! Enough said!

I read all of Adrienne's post and is Owen adorable, or what? But Keith, I see it will be some time before we will be able to play "Grandma & Grandpa" with him. Becky & you have your work cut out for you. Knowing you both, you will be another successful family like Adrienne & Jim. We will just have to come up with a new way to bond with our new grandson long distance like we did with Alex when he was small. And make more frequent trips up after things settle down & you are ready for us to enter his circle of family & world. We can't wait. It's so sad that there are so many children being deprived of love & affection. See you soon.
PS. Derek/Jeter????? I like Mikael or Nickolas. But no matter what name you choose. He will be one very loved little boy.
