Hey guys! It's me, Andrew. Thought I'd tell you about my day since mama is too tired. Boy she gets cranky when she's tired... buy I digress.
We started the day by going to a park that our translator took us to (I love her - she speaks to me in Russian instead of that mumble jumble mama and papa talk to me in). The park was so big! Below is a picture of me and my mama. I love birds and she was nice enough to hold my hand to make sure I didn't jump in after the ducks. Ducks say "quack, quack" in case you didn't know. (My parents make me repeat EVERYTHING.)
Look at me!! I can't escape mama's camera. I try to hide in tunnels and yep, there she is waiting at the end.
Whoaaaa... who is THAT little girl! Everytime I see a little girl I get mesmerized. I forget how to walk, move, talk... you name it. To think, I'm only almost 3. What will I be like as a teenager?
After playing on the slides, we went over to this little "zoo" they had. There were lots of birds. In case I haven't mentioned it, I LOVE birds. I love to feed them, chase them and watch them. My favorite today were the swans. Mom wasn't too happy that the swans were in a cage when there were some beautiful ponds at this park, but I loved the noises they made. I think they were yelling for food. Kind of reminded me of myself when I get hungry.
I stole some kid's ball (actually papa did but didn't realize it) and we kicked it around. I like to make my papa run after me. I'm a fast little guy. I like to give him the "catch me if you can" look you see in the picture below.
After the park, we had some time to kill and boy was I hungry. I had my first McDonald's Happy Meal. Even though I look really irked in the picture below, I loved the nuggets and really, really loved the french fries (I'm just really tired of mama taking pictures of EVERYTHING). I wish they would feed me french fries at every meal.
So! There you have Andrew's day! Tomorrow we'll be heading to the zoo and I know he'll love it - no doubt in my mind. Hopefully he'll wake up on the right side of the bed!
Paka!

What a cute little NEW YORK YANKEE!!! Wonder where he got THAT shirt!?! Sounds like you guys had fun. Andrew is SO lucky to have both of you as his parents. I hear he's got a pretty nice grandpa, nana, and aunt, too!!!! Love both of you and can't wait 'till Thursday!
Wow! That kid is pretty impressive...he's only 3 years old, is just learning English, and already knows how to spell and use the word "digress"! I see Harvard in someone's future! :-)
By the way he's also a very stylish dresser! Keepin the Yankee Pride alive - go Andrew!!!
Hugs to all! Col
SO CUTE! Great photos and narration! I love it! Hope the next 3 days go SUPER FAST!!!
I like McD's fries too, Andrew. I'm so glad you had a fun day seeing the ducks and playing with Daddy and Mommy. I cannot wait to hear about your trip to the zoo. It sounds like you've had a wonderful time in Moscow exploring your country of birth.
Looking forward to the next post!!
Good job Andrew! I am VERY impressed with your grasp of the English language. You're obviously a very quick study! It sounds like you, mama & papa all had a wonderful day. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
Oh, and the fries - - absolutely the BEST invention ever! I am a FF junkie!
Andrew- I hope you haven't read my blog and gotten a peek at my girls. I have a certain 3 year old that just might stop you in your tracks.

Ohh..what a cutie! Looks like a nice family day at the park and lunch. It is funny they lock up the swans. How beautiful they would have looked on the pond.
It's too cute he notices girls. My oldest went through a period where he too would prefer to play with a girl over a boy. :-)
Hi Andrew...Kyle R. here....
I see you got "Chickendonalds" just like me. You look like your having fun in the cool park. Remember to have your parents always get two happy meal toys. Transformers are cool. I like French Fries also. I can't wait to play with you.

What a great day Andrew!! Thanks for sharing! Ducks are so much fun and I agere with your mama that the swans should have been loose on a pond. Keep those parents of yours on their toes!
We already knew he was adorable, but I honestly had no idea how advanced Andrew's writing skills were - WTG Andrew!!! :) (I was also impressed by his use of the word digress)

Great post Andrew. I just love your expressions. Especially the smug look behind the bars (lets hope it's the only time we see you behind bars) LOL and the "catch me if you can" look. Watch out kindergarten girls, they've got no chance. Looking forward to meeting you in spite of the Yankees gear. Make sure you, mama, and papa get home safe and soon!
Dear Andrew, You have picked up great posting skills already from your Mommy! It looks like you had such a great time at the park and I really like the picture of you in the tunnel! You are so cute! Your parents are truly blessed to have you! Those fries are so delicious...I know what you mean! My kids love them too.
I can't wait to see more pictures of you!
That was too cute! What a great day and a great post!
Thanks for sharing... how much longer till you guys come home?
Just wanted to let you know I've been following along faithfully; I'm just not commenting as much as I use to.
