It's Andrew again. I've sent mom to bed and told her I would update the blog. She's always on to me about getting sleep so when she started get a bit, shall we say... CRANKY, I decided it was time for HER to sleep. You see, she got sick or something. Dad said it was a boo-boo-ah in her throat. She didn't talk a lot (YAY!) and she slept a ton (YAY!) so dad and I wrestled a lot, went to many different playgrounds and just had a darn good old time. Boy stuff that only boys know how to do! I did enjoy barging into mom's bedroom first thing in the morning when she still had her boo-boo-ah yelling "MAMA! MAMA! NIGHT NIGHT? NIGHT NIGHT?" Of course I KNEW she was sleeping but jeez... how much does someone with a fever need to sleep?
Anyhow, let's talk about my week! My parents talk about being worried they are overstimulating me but I just hate naps so I put up a fight. We have done lots of fun things! How about some pictures? Of course, being almost 3, I'll narrate them for you. I'm good like that.
Today, my big brother Alex put my bike together and Dad and Alex taught me how to ride. Dad thinks he was "helping me" by pushing the back of the bike but I SO know how to do it by myself.
Mom got on my bike. Thankfully, Dad took a blurry picture because she looked pretty ridiculous!
And Alex's tires!
My favoritest day EVA! Mom and Dad took me on the boat! On the lake! This time the boat started (phew!) and we had a great time. Like me in mom's sunglasses? How am I supposed to know they are upside down? I'm not even 3 yet!
DUCKS, DUCKS!!! Love the ducks! Love them so much that I even shared my cheerios.
My mom was freaking out a bit about me swimming. I kept sticking my head in the water and then coming up (sometimes for air and sometimes not) and going right back under. She kept telling me to stop but since when do I listen? :-) Seriously though, I got to jump off the boat into the water, wear a life vest and swimmies (yep, over the top!) and then jump some more. I never, ever wanted to leave the lake ever, ever again!
Did I mention that I never wanted to leave? Happen to see that crocodile tear running down my face? Boy was I MAD when it was time to leave. Yeah, dad let me drive the boat but it didn't mean I wasn't going to keep crying.
So, there you have it! Mom made me promise to tell you that she'll post later this week. I'm going to UAB for my big checkup. Mom's excited because she wants to hear that I'm as alright as she thinks I am. She'll definitely post after that!!
Hugs and lots of love!
Andrew

Andrew you are an absolute doll and I love when you blog! I think the doctors will tell mom that you are nothing short of brilliant and perfect when you go to UAB next week.
LOVE this post, Andrew! You are the cutest little munchkin ever! I pray your mommy feels better now and know that all of your love and sweet smile have made all the difference in her recovery. :) You are such a cutie pie! Give your parents big hugs and kisses from us--they love you so much! Owen can't wait to meet you!
Thank you for the big ol' Andrew photo fix! Love 'em all!
So glad you are all well and better Miss Becky. See, you need to take good care of yourself, Andrew needs you, along with all the rest of us. Hope Dr.'s visit goes as you plan. Thanks for the pictures. I was beginning to suffer withdrawals. Love you guys.
Thanks for the update Andrew, we were wondering what you were up to, it sounds like lots of fun. You keep running mama and papa ragged and watch Alex for some tips.
Hi Andrew! Thanks for posting for your mommy and catching us up on your week. I hope mommy is feeling better. Ya know what? Maybe you need to get your drill & fix her like you did daddy's teeth! Have you tried that yet?
What a great blog. Thanks for the update Andrew.

Looks like lot of fun is being had by all! Sorry to hear Mom isn't feeling well. Must be some crud going around cuz I'm home from work today too. I'm sure the drs appt will go well. My advice to Mom is no milk in the morning before the drive. Its a bumpy trip to "the Ham" from Hotlanta. Perfect recipe for a very upset stomach. And don't forget to bring a change of clothes for Andrew and Mom just in case. File this under lessons learned the hard way.:)
I love the close up shot of Andrew in his bike helmet...what a cutie pie!
Wow, your mom sure does look classy riding that bike!
I can't wait to go on the boat with you so we can play...I will see you this weekend!! (P.S. I am going to try to talk your mom into doing a little bit of tax free shopping on Saturday....What do you think?)
Great Blog Andrew. Take care of mom:)
Andrew, thanks for sharing. I loved reading your blog; you'll have to visit more often. Looks like you are having a wonderful time. Tell mommy I hope she feels better soon. And good luck at the doctors next week. Big Hugs!
PS you are a cutie!!!!
Andrew, ask your parents if they have seen the commercial where the guy puts swimmies AND a life jacket on his daughter and then jumps into knee deep water.
Also, you should bring your parents and Alex up to visit me and I'll get my dad to take us out on his boat and you can see me in my cute yellow polka dot bikini. K? K! Anyway, we would make for some really cute blog photos... and I'll show you how to draw all over everything with markers and pencils... it really gets your parents excited! They jump up and down and make really loud noises, you should try it. I don't know what they are saying, I'm not even two yet, but they must really like it from the way they act, so I keep doing it! :)
Toodles, Meg Harrison
It looks like you guys are having a great time adjusting as a family. I hope you feel better. Good luck at the doctors appointment!
Love all the great pics especially the one of you on the bike. ;)
I love all the pictures Andrew. It looks like you and Mommy and Daddy and big brother Alex are having a blast this summer. Glad Mommy is feeling better too.
Thanks for the blog Andrew. I agree, your mom looked pretty funny on that bike. Hope your mom feels better soon and keep posting those great pictures.
